The breakfast buffet at Golden Walls Hotel was fantastic, with a wide variety of choices including salads, cheese, eggs, juices. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The room was spacious and comfortable, with clean white linen and towels that were changed daily. The windows kept the noise out, ensuring a peaceful stay. The hotel's location near the bus terminal was convenient for exploring the city, and public transportation was easily accessible. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Jerusalem.

During our stay at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room. The modern furniture added an extra touch of elegance. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short walk from Damascus Gate and within easy reach of all the main attractions in the Old City. We even managed to walk to the City of David with our kids, which was just a 20-minute stroll away. The breakfast at Golden Walls Hotel was perfect, and we highly recommend trying their lunch and dinner buffet as it offers great value for money compared to other restaurants in Jerusalem.

The location was fantastic, just outside the city walls and in an interesting part of the area. Nice lounge area.
No lift so had to carry luggage upstairs. Quite cold in the room. The breakfast really doesn't cater for European tastes.

What a great weekend! The food was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options available. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to all the main attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Our room was a bit difficult to find at first, but once we got our bearings, it wasn't a big problem. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great weekend getaway.

Excellent location. Just 1 min from Damascus gate, right at the entrance of the old city and a short walk away from the bus station where you can catch a bus to Bethlehem. Friendly staff. Welcome drink on arrival.
The rooms are old, a bit run down and small, no elevator. It is really not a 4 star hotel, in most of the world it would probably only get a 2 star rating. Far too expensive (but everything in Jerusalem are overpriced).

Very good hotel, let down by a problem. Our tour party of 19 stayed here for 6 nights because it was very close to the walls round Jerusalem. We were welcomed with a soft drink, which was very refreshing and a meal even though we didn't arrive until late in the evening. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and all the food was excellent. There was a wide range of enticing buffet dishes with enough variation to ensure that we didn't get fed up. The dining room gets a bit cramped when the hotel is full. There was traditional dancing as entertainment one evening during our stay. The hotel is a mid-range hotel which offers reasonably priced accommodation without excessive luxury. We stayed in room 303 which was reasonably well equipped with an in-room safe, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and enough storage space and hangers. There were no bedside lights controlled by switches reachable from the bed which meant having to get out of bed to switch them off - not a major problem but a nuisance. Several of our party stayed in other rooms which had a separate shower. It may be that room 303 was on the list for refurbishment in the future. There is no iron or ironing board in the room, but an ironing service is available, presumably for a fee although I didn't check this. The reason why I've only awarded 4 stars is because every time we used the shower which was in the bath, water leaked down the side of the bath to soak the floor despite our careful arrangement of the shower curtain. The water was leaking from somewhere else. Despite reporting this to the front desk on 3 separate occasions, nothing was done. Judging by the water-stained wooden architrave near the bath, we weren't the first people to have this problem.
